Meet Your Tutor Mrs. Obiaderi Iyamah Osifo

Oby Iyamah Osifo is a Makeup Artist, Beauty Educator, and beauty entrepreneur known for Switch Cosmetics and Camouflage Makeup Art Academy (CMA Academy).

With degrees in Communications & Multimedia and Web Design and Development from McMaster University in Canada, Oby pursued her passion for makeup artistry after completing her studies.

Having worked as a Teaching Assistant during her graduate studies, Oby developed a love for teaching and a keen interest in beauty product development, influenced by her mother's background in cosmetology and her exposure to the beauty business at a young age.

In 2012, Oby launched her first product, a series of baked color powders under the CMA professional line, which she retailed through her beauty retail brand, Switch Cosmetics. She has since expanded her product range and continues to sell premium quality makeup products online and in stores.

Recognizing the funding challenges faced by creative talents in Nigeria's beauty industry, Oby established Camolion Spaces. This initiative provides fully furnished spaces for entrepreneurs in the beauty services and cosmetics retail industry, offering flexible payment options that cater to their specific needs.
